Renowned for their exquisite chocolates, I procured a packet of their white chocolate, intended for use with an ingenious contraption they have devised—the Velvetiser. This remarkable device blends the chocolate with milk to produce a sublime cup of hot chocolate. Although I do not possess a Velvetiser, I have concocted my own recipe for a white chocolate mocha, which I am pleased to share with you.
To begin, I place enough coffee grounds for a full cup of coffee into tea bags, then steep them in 4 ounces of boiled water. I allow this to sit for approximately five minutes. Meanwhile, I mix the packet of white chocolate from Hotel Chocolat with 4 ounces of boiling hot milk. Using a frother, I blend the mixture to achieve a smooth, creamy consistency. Subsequently, I pour in the 4 ounces of prepared coffee, ensuring to squeeze the tea bag to extract every last drop of its rich essence.
The result is an extraordinary beverage, harmoniously marrying the velvety sweetness of white chocolate with the robust undertones of coffee. I daresay, it is quite the indulgence!
